Marshland Outfitters operates its goose and duck hunting in Saskatchewan, Canada amongst endless harvested agricultural fields of peas, wheat and barley. We have outfitting rights to over 1 million acres of prime waterfowl habitat. The countless bodies of water in this region provide the key ingredients necessary for staging unbelievable numbers of migrating ducks and Canada Geese. With Saskatchewan’s liberal bag limits and early fall seasons, hunters enjoy and take advantage of getting the “first crack” at the northern migrating flocks of canada geese and ducks.

To ensure the success of our clients, we use only top quality equipment and guides.  Our guides have years of Saskatchewan hunting experience.  From setting up the decoy spreads, working the flag and calls, to putting the birds “on deck”, our guides and scouts are masters at what they do.  Our clients will take advantage of our warm, dry and comfortable layout blinds and our seemingly endless supply of modern full body goose and duck decoys.  We pay attention to even the smallest details, and our hunters will reap the benefits of our hard work.  We believe that there is no substitute for doing your homework, and our scouts prove that theory daily. Marshland Outfitters offers 3 waterfowl hunting packages.  The Waterfowl package is designed to fit your needs and to provide you with the ultimate Saskatchewan waterfowl hunting experience.

Marshland Outfitters offers 3 or 5 day hunts for all waterfowl packages:

3 day hunt (3 morning hunts & 2 afternoon hunts)
5 day hunt (5 morning hunts & 4 afternoon hunts)

Marshland Outfitters hunts are designed to run in groups of 6 hunters. If your booking is less than 6 hunters we reserve the right to add additional hunters to your group. We do offer a pro-rated price. If you’re coming as a group of 4 and you pay for the 5th hunter or if you are coming with a group of 5 and you pay for the 6th hunter this ensures no other hunters get added to your group.

Weather

The average temperature in Saskatchewan for the month of September ranges from daytime highs of 60-65°F and lows of 40-45°F. October temps range from highs of 55-60°F and lows of 30-35°F.

Hunting Gear

• Camouflage clothing, Advantage, Wetland and Shadow Grass are all good patterns
• White camouflage or white overalls for snow goose hunting
• Face masks – both white and camouflage
• Face paint

• Cooler- if you are planning to take birds home you must either bring a cooler or purchase a cooler from a local store before arrival to camp.
• Ammunition-you may bring your own or stop at a local Cabelas or Wholesale Sports to purchase your ammo before arrival to camp if you have not made arrangements to purchase from Marshland outfitters. Expect to shoot 2-3 boxes a day we suggest BB’s for geese and #2 or #3 shot for ducks
• Shotgun plug- you are only allowed 3 rounds in the gun,1 in the chamber and 2 in the magazine (Saskatchewan Law)
• If hunting later in the season (October) warm weather cloths
